Nope! The app provides extra features (such as a remote control, fade in / fade out scheduling, and nursery calibration). SNOOZ works perfectly fine without ever being connected to a smartphone. Tone and volume can be adjusted on the device itself.

Yes, but because SNOOZ is designed to help you sleep, the lights turn off automatically after a few seconds – and they can be entirely disabled if you’d prefer.
The SNOOZ companion app enables you to enable “Dark Mode” so that you can disable the touchpad lights from turning on (even when you’re controlling SNOOZ with the touchpad).
